Not Just Cheesecake- Desserts For A Shavuos Table To Satisfy Every Craving

It’s that time of year again- the countdown is almost over and all we can think about is cheesecake.

(Maybe not for my sister-in-law, whose due date is on Shavuos itself, and she is soon to find out if she’s having boy #4 or a longed- for little girl! I doubt she’s thinking of cheese).

But for the rest of us, with four meals to plan and the urge to this year do something different- make something special, and of course wow our guests, we have work to do.

Plan, prep, plan, bake-bake-bake!

Biscoff Whipped Chocolate Ganache Cups

Um, yeah? I love this presentation in little glass cups, and I would make these ahead(super easy recipe) and pop on the lotus cookie right before serving.

5 Minute Chocolate Cookie Dough Lotus Dessert

I totally want to buy these little re-usable ramekins, cause aren’t they adorable?! And a 5 minute dessert that looks this good is one to keep on hand.

Salted Caramel Panna Cotta with Praline

Never made Panna Cotta before? Neither have I- until now.

Panna Cotta is an Italian dessert made from sweetened cream thickened with gelatin. It holds its shape so mold it however you like!

Just wait till your guests ask you what this is and you pop that name out! WOWing already, friends.

Vanilla Millefeuille

Cant you taste the crunch just looking at that photo! Man, it looks so fresh!

One of my absolute favorites, Millefuille is a lovely dessert made from thin layers of puff pastry and dollops of cream-custard.

You can use store bought layers and not make homemade like in the pictures recipe, and use instant pudding as a cream stabilizer!

Tiramisu

If you’re looking to try something different, this should be it. The combination of everything going on in a cup of tiramisu just works. I can’t wait to try this one!

Mascarpone Cheesecake with Bourbon Praline Caramel “Crust” and White Chocolate Ganache

Got me on the crust. Just sayin’.

This recipe has been made by tons of @peaslovencarrots’s followers and has passed rave reviews. Also- it’s made with relatively “cheap” cheeses, compared to the normal 4 containers of cream cheese+ that a lot of cheesecake recipes will call for.
