Lay out two shallow rimmed plates or bowls.
Add eggs to one and whisk.
To the next, add breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, black sesame, onion flakes, salt, and garlic powder. Mix to combine well.
Add chicken to the eggs and toss to coat. Working a few at a time, dredge in seasoned breadcrumbs.
*These freeze great. Place breaded chicken poppers onto a baking tray fitted with parchment and into the freezer for an hour or two, and then transfer to a ziplock bag. Pre-freezing keeps them from sticking to each other. When ready to eat fry directly from the freezer
Heat up about 2 inches of oil in a pan. Taking care not to crowd the oil, add poppers and fry till golden, 2-3 minutes, then flip and fry the second side. Remove to a paper towel.
For the dipping sauce, combine all ingredients in a small bowl and mix well. (this can also be made in advance and kept in the fridge!)
