1 cuppineapple, cut to small cubes

Prepare beef: Cut beef into pieces that are 1/8-1/4 inch thick and 1 inch wide.
In a container or zip top bag, combine soy sauce, sugar, pineapple juice, oil, ginger, scallion , and garlic. Add beef and marinate for 30 minutes or an hour. If using wooden skewers soak them in water to prevent burning.
Thread beef onto skewers, keeping the meat in the centre/top half of each stick.
Fire up the grill or heat a grill pan over medium heat. Grease the grates to prevent sticking, and cook about 2-3 minutes per side, until the edges are crispy and the meat is cooked through.
Arrange on a large platter. Garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
Pineapple Salsa
In a bowl, mix together pineapple, cilantro, red onion, chili pepper, lime juice, honey, and salt. Serve or keep in the fridge up till overnight in an airtight container.
